These copy-and-paste letters are Unicode mathematical symbols, not a font. Screen readers may read them one symbol at a time, some apps and websites strip or replace them, and search engines will not match them to plain words. Do not use them for anything people must be able to search, read aloud or read with assistive technology, such as names on forms, email subjects or important instructions.
Everything runs in your browser. What you type is not uploaded or saved. The copy-and-paste styles are Unicode symbols and the image uses a bundled blackletter font; neither needs an account.
Script letters you can paste
These are Unicode mathematical script letters, a flowing, pen-written look. Script and bold script each have capital and small A to Z. Unicode has no script digits, so numbers stay as typed or turn bold.
They are symbols, not a calligraphy font, so every device draws them in its own way and some apps will not show them. There is no PNG on this page, because the bundled font is blackletter; use the other pages for a real-font image.
For gothic lettering instead
Script is rounded and flowing. For sharp, angular gothic letters, use the Fraktur styles on the home page.
Common questions
Is this a calligraphy font?
No. It converts your text to Unicode script symbols. They look like handwriting, but they are not a font you install.
Why do some script letters look different?
A few script capitals and small letters (such as โฌ, โฐ, โฏ and โ) were encoded in an older Unicode block, so some devices draw them with a different font.
Will it work in a name field?
Often, but not always. Some sites strip these symbols, so check the preview before you save.
